The Wizards packed up at headed to the airport today, and are set to resume training next Tuesday in KC. Now that Claudio Lopez has officially joined the team, there is much less to talk about. The Wizards continue their training in Argentina, and won their latest friendly 2-1 over River Plate. Ahh, at last. Some relief from these incessant rumors. A number of sources are reporting that Lopez is going to join the Wizards. It’s been raining a lot since the Wizards arrived and they have been practicing mostly inside. In fact, the first exhibition they were scheduled to play against Defensa y Justicia. It has now been rescheduled til Tuesday. The other three teams on the schedule are Velez Sarsfield, River Plate, and Boca Juniors. [...]
