A Short Look into the Wizard’s Crystal Ball.

By: Michael | March 28th, 2007

The road to our season opener in DC is ever-shortening, as there are only two more (confirmed) exhibitions to be played before they start counting. The first is an exhibition against the Columbus Crew on neutral turf - Wake Forest University (Winston-Salem, North Carolina). The second, as reported earlier, is a game against the Seattle Sounders, 3-time USL champions. As always, I’ll be piecing together whatever vague snippets can be found on the world wide web here after each game.

Past that, we’ve hit the regular season, and it will be time to see of Coach Onalfo has gotten the team as prepared as advertised in many-an-interview. Our first three games will all be away, to DC, Real Salt Lake, and Chicago, and my early prediction is a 1-1-1 record going into the home opener against Toronto FC.

My full preview of what to expect from the Wizards this year will be posted by Bob on the main theoffside.com page on April 3rd. Mark your calendars…
