EJ makes EPL debut
By: travis | February 23rd, 2008A quick note on former Wizards forward Eddie Johnson: he made his debut for Fulham today. Coming on in the 76th minute for fellow US International Clint Dempsey, he couldn’t prevent another Cottagers loss. I didn’t see the game as it wasn’t on TV down here. If you caught the game, please leave thoughts here.
Fulham currently sits in 19th place, 4 points from safety, and I wonder if anyone is bold enough to think they will somehow avoid the drop. Game recap from Soccernet here. Looks like EJ’s time in the top flight could be limited to just a few months. I’ll keep tabs on him for the end of the EPL season, just for kicks.

EJ looked really frozen out there. Hopefully, he gets acclimated quickly.

I love that name Olivia .. . . ..
Anyway, EJ looked exactly as she said – frozen.
The most FRUSTRATING thing about watching EJ is how he jogs with a lax look across the top half of the field, not pressuring the ball, not breaking a real full out jersey soaked in it sweat, and that wont fly in EPL.
I am hoping there is someone who can educate EJ on the new world he has entered, and how he should play accordingly. I think he can excel. Its just a matter of applying himself and putting in HARD HARD HARD work (whether in EPL or Champions)
