lol to the archeologist.

Wolff can make a good partnership with Lopez, possibly backed up by Trujillo in a 4-3-1-2 formation. Can be very dangerous.

Brontosaurus had teeth. Big ones. Just because they ate foliage doesn't mean they were toothless. So the statement about "toothless as a Brontosaurus" is technically incorrect. :)

Now, I'm with you about Wolff - I'm not sure if he's the answer or not, but I'm willing to give him a shot, he did do pretty well for KC last time he was here and perhaps he gained something in Germany while he was gone.

But as far as his national team performance - heck, look at EJ last year... he never looked all that great (now granted, EJ did look decent a few times and I haven't actually seen Wolff's recent performances) but he still had the first back-to-back hat trick ever in the league, and he is at least of enough quality to get the attention of Bradley... Pore (not to harp on him, I do think he has a future) has not obtained that.

As far as finishing - Sat. we created some _good_ chances and it seemed to be one of those 'when it rains, it poors' days... we need to get the monkey off our back and then I think the goals could be on the return. But the early exchange between Arnaud and, well, almost everyone else in the 10th minute or so... the Lopez layoff in the 72nd and Sealy's rounding of Rimando in stoppage... if we continue to make plays like those, I'm not too worried that the goals will follow.
