Let’s Get a Win!
By: Mike | August 2nd, 2008Our guys have done well to go undefeated for the last 6 games, but, let’s face it; a bunch of draws do not move a team up the table. The Wizards have been lucky in that others have been pulling draws too, so we have not dropped. On the other hand, this also means a lot of missed opportunities to move up. Here’s the good news! We have been on a bit of a roll and will be playing a DC United squad lacking 3 starting players and coming off of 4 straight losses, all at home. Aside from the juicy prospects of a victory tonight, I’m hoping things go well enough to see Nelson Pizarro come into the game. He showed some good form against the Fire, and it would be nice to see the kid get his first MLS goal against United.
