By: Mike | August 16th, 2008The Wizards will be taking their one-win streak to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, hopefully doubling it to two, against the Colorado Rapids. There are reasons to be optimistic. First, they did play well for a big part of last week’s game against Chivas. If the Wizards keep the offensive grit they showed last week and stay awake for the whole game, there is no reason why they can’t bring home a win. Second, the team is pretty much in healthy shape. Finally, the Rapids, unlike the Wizards, are in a bit of a funk. Down the Byline has a more detailed preview.
A win in Colorado would be a great setup to next week’s game at home with Dallas. Go Wizards!
