Struggles continue

Yikes. Another loss, this time at home. Highlights weren’t pretty either. Conceding three goals to a talented but out of form Crew team can’t be good for the confidence. The offensive struggles continue, with only one shot mustered on net all night. I haven’t watched the game yet, not sure if I’ll get a chance to either.
Immediate reactions are not optimistic. Wizards sit in seventh in the East still, and the gap widens with the continuing ascent of DC United. Still a lot of games to be played, but this it’s not a good place to be.
A couple of positive notes:
-It was a sell out crowd at the CAB. The crowd sounded loud and boisterous, and Hillcrest Road sends out a thank you. It’s much better to hold games in a small capacity venue to increase the noise of supporters.
-Kerry Zavagnin became the second player to go 20,000 minutes for the squad. San Jose defender Nick Garcia is the other player who shares the feat.

Could not agree more. Frank Yallop has said that he and the team prefer the more intimate Buck Shaw Stadium as opposed to the monolith that is the Oakland Coliseum.
