By: travis | June 28th, 2008For doing something no Wizards player could do today – but the ball past Nick Rimando. Ok, so this post is meant to be laced with sarcasm, but obviously it’s much more difficult to accomplish that than I thought.
A win is a win. The 409 minutes without a goal is snapped. Would have been nicer if the credit had gone to one of the forwards. Just have to keep reminding myself that it is three points. That’s the key today. They’ll be more nitpicking later. For now, a time to relax and know that for the first time since April 20, the Wizards have won.

Like you said three points are three points. To a starving man even the most unappetizing of meals is better than nothing. Now if they can go forward and build on it.
