Wizards draw, plus the remainder of the Argentina schedule

By: travis | March 11th, 2008

The Wizards failed to score for the first time in Argentina as they drew 0-0 with Platense. Their schedule for the rest of the week is pretty busy. Starters are expected to get the majority of playing time from here on out.

Argentina schedule is as follows:

The stint down in Argentina has gone well. The Wizards have gone up against some quality competition, and have produced some results so far.

I expect Lopez to make his debut before the week is out. Don’t forget that Trujillo has also been officially added, giving Onfalo more options up front than when they left KC. In fact, Ivan Galarcep writes that the Wizards could be a team to sneak under everyone’s radar. I think it’ll depend on Lopez/where the goals come from. Don’t forget that they are missing a player who scored 14 times last season. If Claudio is a dud, they could be left searching for answers. So far so good, at least in the preseason.
